MCK-Traditional Filipino Beef Sinigang sa Sampalok (Beef Tamarind Stew)
Beef sinigang is a popular Filipino comfort food known in English as beef in sour tamarind broth or beef tamarind stew. It consists of tenderized beef (usually ribs or shank) cooked with vegetables, in a tangy, sour, savoury broth seasoned with tamarind often enhanced with fish sauce and green chilies.
Sinigang is best served hot, paired with steamed white rice. Typically enjoyed during rainy and chilly days for warmth and comfort. Join us and experience the taste of this deeply cherished comfort food yourself.
